From the brick streets of Philly to the West Coast sun, Clutch Graves is the supernatural gearhead who never lets a bully win a race. Behind the grinning skull is a hero of the 1950s road, turning high-speed danger into a mission for what’s right.

1. 100% Repurposed Construction: Expertly salvaged and reconstructed from a genuine early-2000s British Military duffel bag, giving the body a rugged, battle-tested soul.

2. Heritage Interior: Features an integrated inner security pocket repurposed from a 1990s Dutch Military pack, blending two eras of European utility.

3. Artisanal Hand-Painted Facade: The “Skull and Speed” front graphic is entirely hand-painted—a meticulous process requiring a full week for layered application, curing, and finishing.

4. Integrated Carry System: Heavy-duty straps are recycled directly from the original British military canvas for maximum weight distribution and authentic patina.

5. Hardware Transformation: The bag’s original heavy-duty steel ring has been repositioned and repurposed as a dedicated industrial keychain holder.

6. Handmade “Jerry Can” Charm: Includes a custom, one-of-a-kind keychain hand-sculpted from air-dry clay, modeled after a vintage 1950s fuel jerry can.

7. Authenticated Stencil Work: The interior features hand-stenciled labeling, including the unique series number and the “Clutch Graves” signature mark.

8. Sustainable “88th Remake” Philosophy: Every component, from the fabric to the rings, is salvaged, cleaned, and given a second life, ensuring no two bags are ever identical.

Hand Hand-Painted Story Labels

The Skull & Speed Racing Philly Club — The Clutch Graves Tote Bag -REMAKE©- has its unique label tag from l’Atelier. The tag is numbered with the bag’s unique serial number and has a red wax handmade quality control seal. On the back of the label tag are two other stapled tags: one for the -REMAKE©- list and one for measurements.

Hand Painted Packaging

Packaging is the last and most important part of the design process. Since all my items are hand-painted, applying the same method to their packaging is natural.
I spray painted the 88th Company logo on a beautiful large brown bag on a custom stencil. After inserting the custom item inside the bag, it is folded and closed with a vintage twine string. Finally, like a top-secret letter, the string knot is sealed with a custom wax seal.
