Welcome to 88th Company, where History meets design! My goal, is to provide you with a one of a kind wearable art piece, inspired by tales of courage, vintage design, military aviation & all type of vehicles from 1900 to 1970. All my paintings and prints are my original designs and they are fully handmade. Be the first one to own a customized and carefully selected vintage jacket, bag and distressed t-shirt, that can never be duplicated! Finally, 88th Company is all about high quality craftsmanship and high attention to details!
Craftsmanship Process
01. Thrifting
Hunt a few times a week for vintage military bags, jackets and workwear.
02. Concept Design
Research through books, documentaries and movies for ideas & tales of courage for a unique design.
03. Mockup Design
Flush out serval concept sketchs on paper to transfer into digital mockup.
04. Painting
Painting process start with tracing first and painting second.
05. Dyeing
Dyeing process by using natural dyes such as coffee, turmeric and paint.
06. Sewing
Sewing is done by hand or by machine depending on the work needed.
07. Leather
Natural leather is cut in shapes and painted by hand for each project.
08. Distressing
Distressing is done by hand by using various tools such as Exacto knives, sand paper, paint, oil, metal brushes and much more.
09. Packaging
All the packaging and labels are made in house. They are also painted and distressed by hand.
